I am proud to announce that my marble sculpture Embrione, carved from the finest Carrara marble, will be part of a prestigious public exhibition organized by the Comune di Pietrasanta. The piece will remain on display for one year, from 2025 to 2026, along the beautiful seafront at Lido di Pietrasanta.

About Embrione

Embrione represents the fragile yet powerful essence of human existence. Its form recalls the intimate protection of the womb, a timeless image of origin, vulnerability, and resilience. The curved posture embodies both defense and introspection, while the strength of Carrara marble evokes permanence and endurance.

The sculpture invites the viewer to reflect on the delicate balance between inner growth and the outer world — a universal message that resonates with all ages and cultures.

Pietrasanta: The City of Art

Known worldwide as the “Little Athens of Versilia,” Pietrasanta has always been a meeting place for artists and sculptors who work with marble and bronze. Exhibiting Embrione here, just steps from the sea, is both an honor and a dialogue with a centuries-old tradition that links nature, human creativity, and the eternal beauty of Carrara marble.

A Year by the Sea

For twelve months, Embrione will stand under the open sky, surrounded by the sound of the waves and the changing light of the seasons. This unique setting will allow visitors to experience the sculpture not only as an artwork, but as a living presence, constantly transformed by the natural environment of Lido di Pietrasanta.
